Signs

Mike Murray yard signs are now available!!! There will be volunteers putting them up as soon as possible. Signs may also be picked up. Call Melissa at 296-1015 to schedule a time.

If you haven't been contacted yet, please let us know if you would like one and where you live. If you have friends that want them, let us know that, too. We will be keeping a list of addresses so that they can be picked up shortly after the election. Also be aware that they should not be placed in the city right of way.

If you are interested in helping put signs out, please contact Melissa to arrange it

Breaking News!

An article in the Saturday, June 23rd Ames Tribune Mid-Iowa section indicates "Murray to run for Ames school board". As of this posting, the article isn't posted to the www.amestrib.com website, but we'll keep on the lookout.

My transcribed excerpt:

Mile Murray will be making his third attempt at securing a seat on the Ames Community School Board this year, and he said he continues to run for the same reasons.

"I want the schools to be there for my children," Murray said. "I want them to maintain the level of quality they have, and I would like to see decision-making processes done in an open and logical manner that the community can get behind and support."
